  • Use these copper plated, magnetic clasps / ends to finish off cord up to 6.2mm thick. Perfect for the latest leather, pleather, silk and satin cord necklaces. Simply dab some glue inside cord end and insert the trimmed end of the cord completely through to the end of the cap. We recommend our Zap-a-Gap glue for most types of cord.
  • Measurements: Each clasp piece measures 11x7mm and will accommodate cord up to 6.2mm thick.

Tarnished while crafting

The coating of this item tarnished already WHILE I was crafting with it... I made a Kumihimo bracelet and wanted to use the clasp as a closure. During fitting the clasp I noticed that it had started to tarnish. It wasn't even glued, and subsequently I will not use and glue it. In this state there is no point to create product photos. Very disappointing given the price point! Feels more like cheap China ware. Not reliable unfortunately! I hope this will be improved.

Thank you for your feedback regarding this item. Copper and copper plated items are prone to developing a patina and darkening, which for some is the desired effect.
