In late 2020, Swarovski's new leadership announced major changes in the company including the discontinuation of support for  the DIY sector. Unfortunately, this means that Swarovski has decided to no longer manufacture beads and other crystal components for hobbyists and small jewelry makers, preferring to have more control over who gets to create jewelry with Swarovski crystals.
