Hi, this is Julie with beadaholique.com is tell in rose we have a Zola Elements acetate ring and this here is the mermaid comes in a couple other finishes too this is just three of them we do have more at beadaholique.com but this is light tortoise black pearl and pearl I do want to go with the mermaid cuz has a little bit of pink in it we're also going to be using a frosty crystal six millimeter bicone and light Rose shimmer and then these eight millimeter jump rings a little ball post earring hook a little clutch for the back of it and a I pin as well so that's it so and like I mentioned really simple techniques here you're gonna need a couple pairs of chain nose pliers to open and close those jump rings you're gonna need a pair of either round nose or wire looping pliers and then a cutter let's go ahead and make this I want to show you how this goes together really quite quickly so first off we're gonna open a jump ring and we're using the same size jump rings for the entire project so to open it just grip the jump ring with the opening up at the top and twist now we want to slide on our pendant you see that goes on very easily and slide on our ring now we're going to twist it shut okay now we're going to add two more jump rings to our Zola acetate ring again just twist open link on close shut and one more that's why you really do need two pairs of the chain nose pliers okay link gone oh it could be helpful if you look at it head-on to make sure you're getting those guys closed all right so you want to let one drop to either side of your focal pendant it just creates a really interesting shape when they hang now what we're going to do is we're going to pull out three jump rings that are closed we're going to take a fourth jump ring and we're going to open it and we are going to link on it to the ring and then we're going to put all three of these jump rings that are already close together and close your jump ring okay now we want a second one so we're really using the jump ring so that's a design element and this is something you can do in a lot of different designs okay so we're going to go through get that ring and then we want to go through all three of the jump rings those nice closed ones okay one more and again go around the loop and into all three of the Centers of those other jump rings I just went into the center of one of my ones around the ring okay alright so I hold this like here you can see we've got three and three and now what we want to do we want to take our little bicone and we want to place it on to an eye pin and let it slide down now what we want to do is we want to create a loop that's going to be big enough to go around all three of those jump rings so instead of creating a loop right here towards the end of my nose of my pliers you see it's a tapered so up top it's gonna be the smallest loop down here it's gonna be the widest and we just want one that's a little bit wider so I'm gonna slide down just a little bit along the edge to create a little bit bigger loop squeeze bend your wire over rotate your pliers up to the top and crisscross and there we got a loop and we're crisscross this you're just gonna trim away that extra wire you're gonna open it up like so and now you place all three jump rings on to it and you're gonna close it on up and now what we want to do is we want to find the front and the front is on the princess cut here you see it's that flat area which is flashing a little bit here you see this has got a point to it so that's how I'm identifying front and back on this pair of earrings so now what I want to do is look at my earring hook and make sure that when I put this on it's going to hang right and in this case it will that was a happy stance but if your loops are not facing the right direction you can simply grab the bottom one with a pair of chain nose pliers grab the top one and just twist because you want that top one facing forward now we're going to open it slide on the little loop at the back of our or at the bottom I should say of our little post close it shut slip on the earring back and you have just made your earring and here's the set and these really do encourage you to look at the picture of these that we'll have it beadaholique.com because when they are hanging there's a little difficult of an angle to show here on camera they really look their best because all the little rings stay together and of course they're going to be hanging from your ears so they're going to have that great look to them but this is a really quick and easy pair of earrings you can do you don't have to have a lot of jewelry making skills and a pretty simple technique and a lot of fun great pair of earrings that are just colorful and playful I hope you enjoyed this video if you did please subscribe to our YouTube channel and check out all our videos at beadaholique.com
