Inconsistent Size on these jump rings

This is a very nice quality jump ring and for most applications, I think it would be great. I was using it with 5mm round beads in a captured bead chain maille design. Most of the jump rings in my first order measured exactly 7mm, outside diameter, which worked perfectly to capture the beads. The other packets measured just under 7mm. Unfortunately, the size in the replacement order, measured just under 7mm as well. That difference was enough that the 5mm Swarovski round beads would not work--the capture was too tight which locked the links of the bracelet. I would not recommend this item for use with captured bead chain maille--but I would recommend its use in other applications that don't require a precise size.
