hi this is Alexandra at betta Holly to show you how to open and close an earring hook so here are four different styles of earring hook that work the same way I've got some chain nose pliers and just to illustrate I'm going to take this leverback earring hook that has a loop at the base and with my chain nose plier I'm just gonna grip on the loop and twist it to the side the same way that I would open a jump ring then I would attach my component whether it be a simple wire loop or a jump ring like this and close it back up the same way you would take for instance this long elegant earring hook and open off to the side and close the same way for a Bali style earring hook off to the side and close and finally this coil and ball earring hook which would open from the front off to the side just under that ball slide on what you want and close it up again I'm using chain nose pliers all of these tools and supplies are available at beadaholique.com and please also subscribe to our YouTube channel for all the latest updates thanks for watching
