This necklace features the wonderful warmth of mixing golds, bronzes, and even a bluish silver metallic together in one design. The result is a subtle statement piece where seed beads and Czech glass rondelles have been wire wrapped onto a Nunn Design oval hammered open frame pendant. All the coordinating findings are by Nunn Design as well.

Instructions

This necklace measures 18 inches long but you can easily make it longer if you like.

Cut 25 inches of wire. Please watch the video: How to Wire Wrap Beads onto a Nunn Design Open Frame Pendant.
Based upon what you learned in the video, create the following rows of beads wrapped around the interior of the open frame pendant. Start at 1/3 of the way from the base of the pendant: 2 rows of seed beads - 13 beads long each, 1 row of rondelles - 6 beads long, 3 rows of seed beads - 13 beads long each, 1 row of rondelles - 6 beads long, and then 2 final rows of seed beads - 13 beads long each. Please note that you don't want your beads overcrowded, so if 12 beads "sit" better on your rows, then use 12 beads instead.
Finish your wrapping the same way as shown in the video. Your focal pendant is done!
Cut 18 inches of chain.
Open a jump ring and link it to the top of your pendant. Close the jump ring. Feed the chain through the jump ring.
Cut 4 inches of wire. Start to create a wrapped wire loop on one end but before doing the wrappings, slip the last chain link from one of the sides of your chain into your loop. Continue to make a wrapped wire loop. Trim off excess wire. Slip on a rondelle. Start to create a wrapped wire loop on the other side of the bead but before creating your wraps, slip on the loop part of the lobster clasp. Finish your wrappings and trim your wire.
Repeat the previous step but instead of attaching another lobster clasp, attach a jump ring (make sure it is fully closed). Enjoy!
