Retired - Thebes Bracelet

1. Begin by watching our video on how to do square stitch bead weaving.
2. Cut a length of Fireline thread as long as you are comfortable working with and thread a size 12 beading needle. You will need to tie off and add new thread as you work.
3. Attach a stopper bead on one end of your thread, leaving an 8 inch tail. Then string your first row of 5 beads: 1 Czech glass turquoise seed bead, 1 Miyuki gold cube bead, 1 Czech glass turquoise seed bead, 1 Miyuki gold cube bead, 1 Czech glass turquoise seed bead.
4. Continue weaving square stitch, using the same pattern in each row, until your bracelet measures 6 inches.
5. At the end, your thread should be coming out the side of the top row. Sew down through the first two beads of the row below, and then up and out the middle seed bead in the top row. Add another seed bead to your needle and sew through the anchor bead again in the same direction. Reinforce the loop. Then weave in your thread tail.
6. Open a jump ring and slide it through the single bead you attached in the previous step. Also slide the loop of your clasp onto the jump ring. Close the jump ring.
7. Repeat step 5 on the other end of the bracelet.
8. Open another jump ring. Slide it through the single bead attached in the middle and also slide on another jump ring. Close the jump ring.
9. Close the clasp, and enjoy your bracelet!
