Rich burgundy and turquoise gemstones are punctuated with wood beads and gold metal beads in this classic strung design. This necklace is perfect for adding to your layered necklace style.

Instructions

This design measures approximately 20 inches. To modify the length, simply adjust the number of beads strung.

Begin by cutting off 26 inches of beading wire and adding a Bead Bugs Bead Stopper about three inches from one end.
Then string on the beads in the following order: 1 wood, 1 gold, 1 red gemstone, 1 gold, 3 turquoise and 1 gold. Repeat this pattern 12 more times and then end by adding 1 gold and 1 wood bead.
Next string on one crimp tube and thread the wire up and over a wire protector. Add one jump ring before threading the wire back through the crimp tube. Pull until snug and crimp the crimp tube. Trim any excess wire. Add a crimp cover.
Move to the other side of the necklace, remove the bead stopper and repeat the above step.
Finally, to this end of the necklace open a jump ring and add the lobster clasp.
To the other end of the necklace add one jump ring.
