Big Changes at Beadaholique

Our recent announcement about closing our store resulted in an outpouring of support from our customers and suppliers. Hearing how important Beadaholique is to you and the beading community lifted our spirits during this difficult time. We are so grateful to you.

Within days of closing, our founders Chris and Sarah found a buyer that was committed to keeping Beadaholique open and continuing our mission of being the world's most fun and engaging online resource for beading and jewelry supplies.

The new owners have many friends in the jewelry supply industry that will help us restock quickly and expand our selection. They also have wonderful partners with a high-tech warehouse and an order fulfillment team that specializes in jewelry supplies. Our store will soon provide everything you could want to make jewelry and your orders will ship even faster. We couldn't be more excited!

Of course, change is never easy, but progress is being made daily. Our new team includes some who have served you for over 10 years along with many new faces. We graciously ask for your patience in the coming weeks as we all work around the clock to rebuild Beadaholique.

We are thrilled that we will soon be able to provide you with even more options for your projects including new brands, new styles, and line expansions featuring more shapes, sizes, and colors than you can imagine. We will also continue supporting the beading community with our library of project tutorials, how-to videos, and 101 guides. In addition, your customer account, order history, wishlists, Beader's Rewards, and unused gift cards are here to stay.

So glad to hear this!

I have a suggestion that if adopted would be super helpful. Could you change your label stock to something that peels cleanly off of plastic bags? That way your customers can use your labels on their storage systems. This greatly facilitates reordering, and also allows the ziplock bags to be reused.

My order was canceled, why?! Your response to my email asking this question is:

Dear Valued Customer,
We are very sorry that your order has been cancelled. There will be an email announcement soon regarding what happened to your order and the old Beadaholique.

So that’s all we get? A measly, dismissive response? If “new” Beadaholique has these business practices then I do NOT recommend to anyone to shop here. Unethical!
