Big Changes at Beadaholique

Our recent announcement about closing our store resulted in an outpouring of support from our customers and suppliers. Hearing how important Beadaholique is to you and the beading community lifted our spirits during this difficult time. We are so grateful to you.

Within days of closing, our founders Chris and Sarah found a buyer that was committed to keeping Beadaholique open and continuing our mission of being the world's most fun and engaging online resource for beading and jewelry supplies.

The new owners have many friends in the jewelry supply industry that will help us restock quickly and expand our selection. They also have wonderful partners with a high-tech warehouse and an order fulfillment team that specializes in jewelry supplies. Our store will soon provide everything you could want to make jewelry and your orders will ship even faster. We couldn't be more excited!

Of course, change is never easy, but progress is being made daily. Our new team includes some who have served you for over 10 years along with many new faces. We graciously ask for your patience in the coming weeks as we all work around the clock to rebuild Beadaholique.

We are thrilled that we will soon be able to provide you with even more options for your projects including new brands, new styles, and line expansions featuring more shapes, sizes, and colors than you can imagine. We will also continue supporting the beading community with our library of project tutorials, how-to videos, and 101 guides. In addition, your customer account, order history, wishlists, Beader's Rewards, and unused gift cards are here to stay.

Oh, and your customer service is the absolute best! Even during your blow-out sale, when I’m sure your site was swamped with calls, your customer service responded quickly to my questions about my orders and solved the problem!

I am thrilled that you are staying in business!! I was so dismayed when I heard that you would be closing your business (although I did love those 70% off prices!!!). Your prices tend to be at or below other beading sites, and I can always trust the quality of the items you sell. Your how-to videos are the best!! They are my go-to videos when I am learning a new technique or trying to improve an old one. I am so glad that you will continue to make new ones!! With so many brick and mortar, as well as online beading stores closing during the last few years, I am relieved that you will continue to operate.

Old stock? These people must have missed that every thing was on sale even the new gemstones. I do believe they were planning on closing but someone must have bought them or they got a small business loan. It’s been tough for our industry. A lot of my favorite bead shops closed during Covid and never came back. 😭 And remember Fusion Beads? I miss them! 😔 Glad you guys are staying.

Woohoo! I’m glad you are staying open. I, personally, am not upset. Either way, a sale is a sale regardless of how it’s presented…going out of business or old stock sale. I got some pretty good stuff and will continue to shop with you. Looking forward to seeing all the new restocked items.

I found some wonderful deals and took advantage of your sale (much to my husband’s chagrin!) looking forward to moving forward with you! Any chance to get “points/ rewards for my orders? Perhaps just as you move forward. I didn’t “ register” since you were closing and should have….

I guess you all had fun while your fake news of closing down lasted? Who ever thought out that plan?
All you had to do was reduce your prices to clear out your old stock.
I know for sure you’re going to loose some of your customers! Let’s wait and see.

Hello. It made me sad when I heard they closing store. I bought some beads at good price. My friend knows someone who works at Beadaholique and she was told she would lose her job because they closing. Now she is very HAPPY to keep her job because new owner. Yay!
