Hello Spring! Flowers All Around

Hello Spring! It’s here! Finally! As much as I love some of what winter brings (Christmas, hot soups, fuzzy socks, fireplace chats, etc.), I am always excited to welcome spring. Spring not only means warmer weather and more sunshine, it also feels like a time of renewal and fresh starts. Most of us do the traditional “spring cleaning” and bring the focus back to what’s important in our lives. I feel like it’s also a time of fresh inspiration and optimism. I know that personally my mood improves in the spring: whether it’s the sunshine, longer days, or colorful flowers, I just feel happier.

If you are a designer, spring also means the transition to spring color palettes and flower beads and charms. We tend to not use these as much in the winter, but come spring, these elements start blooming all over our designs. Here are some of my favorites:
