As an American Indian woman and jewelry maker, bead weaving has always been one of the traditional cultural arts which I would LOVE to master. I love to watch the elders as they weave and would truly be honored to evolve into an elder myself, who has the ability to share this old native cultural artworks. Well, the idea about becoming an elder with become true in just a couple of years… if I win THIS, then I can enter my elder years, with this cultural art to share with the young ones in the community.
