Retired - Tropic Bloom Necklace

1. Begin by using flush cutters to cut 1.5 inches of 22 gauge craft wire. On one end of the wire, make a simple wire loop.
2. Slide on three rondelle beads, then make another simple wire loop.
3. Repeat step 1, then slide on one dark blue 8mm hibiscus bead. Make another simple wire loop, opening it the same way you would open a jump ring, and latch onto one end loop of your link from the previous step. Close the loop.
4. Repeat the above step, this time sliding on one light blue 11mm hibiscus bead and latching onto the other loop of your 8mm hibiscus bead.
5. Continue the process described in the previous steps to attach one more 8mm hibiscus bead to your 11mm hibiscus bead.
6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 five more times to continue the pattern shown in the photo.
7. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to create one last link of 3 rondelle beads. Latch this link onto your final 8mm hibiscus beaded link, for a total of 15 inches of beaded chain.
8. To attach your clasp: Open a simple wire loop on one end of your necklace and slide on the loop of your clasp. Close the loop. Repeat this process to attach the end link of your chain extender to the opposite side of your necklace. Enjoy!
