- By threading beads onto eyepins and making a simple loop at the end of each, create the following beaded links: twenty-one mottled red jasper bead links and nineteen amethyst and gold 6mm cathedral bead links.
- Using the method you would use to properly open and close jump rings connect the following: start with one mottled red jasper, and to that link a cathedral bead. To that cathedral bead, link two jasper beads.
- To each of the two jasper beads, add a cathedral bead. Continue to connect alternating jasper and cathedral beads to both sides until you run out of links.
- To the very last link on either side of the necklace you will add the clasp. To one side add the hook, to the other add the loop.
- Open a jump ring and thread it through the hole in the pendant. Thread the jump ring through the single jasper link at the very end of the necklace where the two sides conjoin. Close the jump ring again.
- With a toothpick, dab a tiny amount to the back of the Austrian crystal crystal rhinestone and place it in the very center of the wood pendant. The glue will set in about six minutes, but it will take twenty-four hours to fully dry.
