Instructions

Note: Components and tools listed within this INSTRUCTIONS box and the printer-friendly PDF, if available, may have been discontinued since this project was published. Refer to the PURCHASE COMPONENTS and TOOLS AND OTHER SUPPLIES sections for current availability.

This bracelet measures approximately 7 inches. To modify the length, simply adjust the length of cord and beads loomed respectively.
  1. If you have not worked with the Wrapit Loom before, please watch our video: How to Use the Wrapit Loom by Rainbow Loom.
  2. Fold the leather in half, string on the button and tie an overhand knot up close to the button.
  3. Move 6.5 inches down the leather and tie another overhand knot. Move about one inch down, enough space for the button to fit through and tie another knot.
  4. Place the bracelet in the loom with the button at the front and the space between the two back knots into the back of the loom.
  5. Set up your griffin silk as seen in the above video.
  6. Once you have your cords ready to go begin by adding the Tila Bead Mix in random order. I recommend starting with one full Tila bead. Criss-cross the cords through the first hole, wrap each cord and criss-cross the threads through the second hole. Please see project photo for pattern inspiration. Just keep in mind that as long as it equals one full Tila size you are on track. Two Half Tila beads; Four Quarter Tila Beads; One Half and Two Quarter Tila Beads; etc.
  7. Repeat this to complete the length of the leather cord.
  8. Finish off the cords as seen in the video. Tie them off and add a dab of glue to the knots. Trim the ends and you're all done.

A solid foundation for additional Wrapit Loom projects!

This was an easy pattern with lovely results. It's a good, solid base tutorial for use on the Wrapit Loom and paves the way for numerous variations. Definitely worth making and a great introduction to my new Wrapit Loom. I can tell I'll be using it a lot!
