Retired - The Golden Compass Necklace

1. Glue 9 Austrian crystal flatback crystals (SWF-12057) on the inside of the brass spoked gear frame (PND-7129) using a toothpick and a small dab of glue (XTL-1053). Now glue the smaller flatbacks onto the center of the brass gear (See Photo). You have at least 5 minutes to make adjustments before the glue starts to set. For maximum strength bond, allow 24-72 hours for complete curing. Set aside.
2. Next take the Vintaj brass compass (PND-7011) and gently dap using the wooden dapping set.
3. Now glue the brass compass onto the front of the brass gear using a small amount of glue. Set aside.
4. Bend the Vintaj connector (FCO-4627) in half over the smaller part of a pair of bail making pliers (XTL-0031). Cut off both loops in each end of the connector. Use a dab of glue on the inside of the connector at the point. Slide over the finished pendant until it just covers one of the small dots on the front of the compass (See Photo).
5. Thread one end of the chain (CHA-7195) into the hole of one of the crimp ends (FCR-4202). Squeeze the middle of the crimp tightly with a pair of chain nose pliers. Thread the other end of the chain into the hole of the other crimp end. Squeeze the middle of the crimp tightly with a pair of chain nose pliers. You're finished!
