The Spokes and Gears Necklace is an urban chic statement piece with a distinctive nod to Steampunk design. C-Koop enameled gears pop against the dark black Vintaj Arte Metal chain.

Instructions

Tip: Instead of using really large jump rings to connect our gears together, we are instead going to use separated out oval chain links from a Vintaj Arte Metal Chain.

Begin this necklace by opening and separating out 8 Vintaj Arte Metal long oval links. You can open these just like jump rings, do not close them at this time.
Using the open links from above as jump rings, connect together your C-Koop gears in the following order: 1 red 19mm gear, 1 25mm gray gear, 1 25mm orange gear, 1 25mm black gear, and 1 19mm red gear.
Cut your Vintaj Arte Metal flat cable links chain into two 6 inch segments.
Use one of your long oval links to connect one of the 6 inch chain lengths to one of the red C-Koop gears. On the other side of the 6 inch piece of chain, use another long oval link to connect one half of your Vintaj Arte Metal hook and eye clasp.
Repeat the previous step on the other side of your necklace.
