Retired - Sodalite Delite Necklace

1. Begin by watching the video: How to Make a Cabochon Gemstone Necklace With Chain and Wire Wrapped Embellishments.
2. Take a 1 inch headpin and slide on one smoky quartz bead. Make a simple wire loop and latch it onto the lowermost loop of your scalloped bezel.
3. Next, follow along with the video to glue your sodalite cabochon stone into the bezel and set it aside to dry for at least one hour.
4. As shown in the video, use headpins to prepare simple wire loops for 30 of your 4mm sodalite beads and 10 of your smoky quartz beads.
5. Cut two 12 inch lengths of chain.
6. Using the technique shown in the video, hang a smoky quartz bead 8 links up from the end of one of your chains.
7. Open a jump ring and slide on the simple wire loops of three of your sodalite beads. Also slide on the chain link 8 links up from the smoky quartz bead you attached in the previous step. Close the jump ring.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 four more times to continue the pattern for a total of 5 smoky quarts beads and 5 clusters of sodalite beads.
9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 to add beads to your other length of chain.
10. Follow along with the video to assemble your necklace by attaching the cabochon pendant and toggle clasp. Enjoy your necklace!
