Refill - Deluxe Beaded Kumihimo Bracelet, Pink Iris, Exclusive Beadaholique Jewe

After watching the video tutorial I thought the number of magatamas might be a bit short so I purchased 1 extra tube of the beads just in case and ended up using it. Other than that, the bracelet is really pretty and this is another great Kumihimo kit from Beadaholique.

I’ve ordered multiple kits from beadaholique; they have always been well thought out and convenient projects kits. I love that I can order and kit and not have to worry about sourcing all the correct supplies I’d need to complete a design. Definitely will order again!

So third times the charm. This bracelet came out perfect, I tried the gold/white version twice and it came out ok, this pink one looks awesome now that I know how to do it. I wear a 7 1/2” bracelet so I had enough to string 35 Magatamas but I had to add 4 of the 8/0 sead beads to the beginning and end of all 8 strings, even the magatamas. So each cord had 43 beads and this added about an extra 3/4 inch on each side near the clasp of just sead beads. It all still looks great because you can’t see the rows of just sead beads when it’s on. Now that I have the hang of using magatamas I might redo my gold version bracelet.

This kit is great if you have small wrists. The final product is as per the item pictured here, but even using all the available Magatama beads supplied with the kit, it was too small. My wrists are not particularly large and most bracelets need links removing so to say I was disappointed when it didn't fit is an understatement.
Still, it will make a beautiful present. The product and the instructions are excellent.

The colors in this are so beautiful. I love how it shimmers and it was an easy project to do and fast. Hardest part was having to wait overnight for the glue to fully dry before wearing. I have been getting so many compliments. Thank you!
