- Onto onto a headpin thread an antiqued brass bead cap and a carnelian pumpkin. Create a wrapped wire loop, but instead of trimming off the excess wire, use your round nose pliers (XTL-5060) to curl the wire into a spiral shape. Make five more of these pumpkin dangles (for a total of six) and set them aside.
- Onto two headpins, thread an antiqued brass bead cap and a 6mm carnelian bead. Onto two more headpins, thread an antiqued brass bead cap and a fluted antiqued brass bead. Create a wrapped wire loop on all four of these headpins and trim off excess wire.
- Cut a piece of chain two and a half inches long. Open ten 5.25mm jump rings. Thread each of the jump rings through each of the headpin dangles that you have just created. Thread the jump rings through random links on the length of chain, making sure the headpin dangles are spaced evenly apart. Leave the very top link empty. Close all jump rings once more.
- Open a 7.25mm jump ring and thread it through the top link of the chain. Before you close the jump ring, thread it through the loop half of the toggle clasp. After you have done this, close the jump ring again.
- Cut a length of Soft Flex antique brass colored beading wire at about two feet long. Secure one end of the wire with a Bead Stopper (XTL-3000).
- Onto the beading wire, thread alternating 6mm carnelian round beads and 6mm antiqued brass fluted beads until you reach your desired length. This part of our necklace is roughly sixteen and a half inches long.
- Onto the end of the strand thread a crimp bead, but do not crimp it yet. Thread the wire through the small loop on the toggle bar part of the clasp and back through the crimp tube and several consecutive beads. Pull the wire snug, but not too tight, and crimp the tube. Trim off excess wire.
- Remove the Bead Stopper from the other side of the strand. Onto the end of the strand thread a crimp bead, but do not crimp it yet. Thread the wire through the small loop on round part of the toggle clasp and back through the crimp tube and several consecutive beads. Pull the wire snug, but not too tight, and crimp the tube. Trim off excess wire.
