Retired - Piper Earrings

1. Using your flush cutters, cut a length of green Czech glass cup chain that is 9 cups long. Set aside.
2. With your scrap piece of wire, carefully appy a thin line of E-6000 glue around the channel of your TierraCast pagoda cord end. Carefully place your cup chain length onto the glue and hold in place till dry.
3. Next, watch the video on How to Add a Cone to a Tassel. This video is just for reference since you will be using a similar technique. (There are many ways to make a tassel and the end result will have the same look. The way I made my tassel in this project is by folding over 4 inch lengths of hemp twine and gluing into place.)
4. While your green hemp twine is still on its card, hold one side of it in place and using your flush cutters, cut the other side off of the card. Remove from card while still holding on to the folded portion of your hemp twine.
5. Decide how long you want your tassel length to be; I measured mine to be 2 inches long folded (so each length was 4 inches long total). While your hemp twine is still folded over, use flush cutters to trim to your desired length or follow my measurement.
6. Next, add a large dab of glue into the well of your TierraCast pagoda cord end, and gently insert the folded part of your green hemp twine into the glue. Hold in place until it dries.
7. Once dry, use your chain nose pliers to open a 5mm gold plated jump ring. Slide it through the loop on the top of your cord end and close.
8. Next, open a gold plated kidney wire and slide it through the jump ring and close.
9. You're done!
