Make this striking cuff bracelet in a few simple steps by painting your cuff with black Vintaj patina and adding vintage Lucite pear domed cabochons in Jet Black and Metallic Silver. The sleek, shiny look is quite eye-catching.
Instructions

You will also need a paintbrush for this project. Remember to rinse out the brush with water between coats. If you would like to bend the cuff bracelet to adjust the size, be sure to do so before you start. Bending the bracelet after it's been painted and embellished could damage the embellishments.
  1. Begin by painting Vintaj black patina all over the outside of your brass cuff, holding it by the inside. When it dries, hold it by the outside and paint the inside. Then do the edges, one at a time. When you have the entire cuff painted and dried, apply another coat. Apply a third coat if the color is not uniform and opaque. Allow the patina to dry completely between and after coats.
  2. Once the patina is dry, use the tip of your E6000 glue as an applicator, and place a dab of glue onto the outer corner (where your cuff begins) of one side of your cuff bracelet.
  3. Next, place one Jet Black cabochon (with the pointy side facing up) onto the glue, flat side down. Hold it in place for a few seconds and allow it to dry.
  4. Now, add another dab of glue next to the first cabochon that you placed onto the cuff, and now add a Metallic Silver cabochon onto the glue. But this time, invert it so the point is facing down. This will make your cabochons sit closely next to one another.
  5. Continue adding dabs of glue onto your cuff and placing your cabochons on top, remember to alternate between Jet Black and Metallic Silver and also switch over between the placement styles. See photo.
  6. Allow all of the glue to dry thoroughly before wearing.
