A muted rainbow of color surrounds an Austrian crystal pearl and is completed with a fringe of delicate gun metal chain.

By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.

Begin by cutting 14 pieces of chain, 19 links long (a little less than 3/4 of an inch). Set these pieces aside.
Next you will create a single row of brick stitch with the pink beads around the pearl. To see how to do this please watch our video: How to do Circular Brick Stitch Bead Weaving around a Bead. Leave a tail of about 8 inches.
To create the rainbow look you will add a second row of brick stitch with the ivory beads but only going around to create a semi circle.
Continue weaving back and forth adding new rows with this color order: gray, purple, pink, ivory, gray, purple. When you turn around the thread to complete the last row of purple you will begin adding the chain swags. You will add them into the thread bridges starting with the one in between the fourth and fifth bead. (Please see photo for reference).
Tie off and weave in this tail.
Move to the beginning tail and use this tail to move to the top of the earring and add one pink bead, one ear hook and one pink bead. Weave down into the bead weaving, turn your thread around and repeat the thread path to secure into place. Tie off and weave in this thread.
