- Cut a length of cup chain 20 links (just under 4 inches) long. Be sure to actually count the links, this is precisely the number that will fit on your cabochon.
- Run a line line of E6000 glue around the edge of a blue pearlized cabochon. You want your glue line to be just on the edge of the front side, not too far in, but not going onto the flat backside at all either.
- Place the cabochon down onto a flat surface that you don't mind getting glue on (I placed it on top of the plastic baggie that the cabochons came in).
- While the glue is still wet, place the cup chain around the edge of the cabochon, matching the ends together and then condensing the chain links down until they all meet. Refer to the photo for placement details.
- Allow the glue to dry before continuing.
- Flip your cabochon over. Place a dab of glue onto the glue pad on a gold plated ring base and press the ring base onto the back of the cabochon. Make sure it is centered and allow to dry.
- Allow all glue to dry thoroughly before wearing.
