This turned out nicely!

I made this necklace as an Easter present for my niece to match the Riviera bracelet. The beads on the bracelet were shiny 11/0; and these were matte 8/0. They still look nice together. It took about 8 hours spread over 3 days to finish. Most of the time was taken with futzing around with the bobbins, but they are critical to stay organized. Once you find your routine, it goes quicker. I got off track a few times, but since the pattern is random, you can't tell. I "have" to find a quicker way to load beads...more than one at a time. Is there a device for this????

If you watch the video about how to make this, pay attention to the instructions about tucking the incoming beads under the warp thread. I really didn't get it until I tried it myself, then it made perfect sense. My sister liked it so much, now she wants one...so I'll be giving her one for 'my' birthday...hers was last month.

This was a fun project!!
