There is no real difference to the Kumihimo braiding technique whether using chain or cord. The real difference is how you start and finish the braid.
- To see how to make this necklace from start to finish, please watch the video: How to Make a Kumihimo Chain Necklace.
- In the course of the video you will learn how to cut your chains to the appropriate lengths, tie their ends together with wire, create a simple 8-warp kumihimo braid, end your braids with wire, create wrapped wire loops, and finally how to finish off your design with lengths of single chains and a clasp.
