Measure your wrist to determine your desired bracelet length before you begin. As written, this bracelet will measure 6 1/4" total. Add additional spacers and beads to lengthen your bracelet. Each additional section of spacer and beads will add 5/8" to your length. If you want to add more than one additional spacer, you will need to purchase additional packages of FCO-2303.
- Lay out seven rhodium plated pewter almond shaped spacers and two rhodium plated pewter almond shaped strand reducers. Use a dab of E6000 adhesive to glue one SS16 tanzanite crystal flatback rhinestone to the center top of each spacer and strand reducer. Allow glue to dry for at least an hour before moving on.
- Cut three strands of Soft Flex fine beading wire 12" long.
- Place a silver plated crimp tube a couple of inches from the end of one strand of beading wire. Insert the short end into one loop on one of the strand reducers. Fold over the end and bring it back through the crimp tube. Crimp the tube to secure, and trim the short end of your wire close to the crimp tube.
- Repeat step 3 twice more to secure your other two lengths of beading wire to the other two loops on the first strand reducer.
- String ten beads from a 10/0 lilac mix of Miyuki Delica seed beads onto each of your strands.
- Bring the right strand over the center strand and then the left strand over this, as in a traditional 3-strand braid.
- With the strands in this placement, thread them through a spacer.
- Bring the left strand over the center strand and then the right strand over this, again, as in a traditional 3-strand braid.
- With the strands in this placement, thread them through a spacer.
- Repeat steps 6-9 three times, and then steps 6-8 once more.
- With the strands in their new placement, use a crimp tube to secure each strand to one of the loops on the second strand reducer in the same manner as the first.
- Use a 4mm, 21 gauge silver plated jump ring to attach one side of a silver plated magnetic clasp to one of the strand reducers. Then use a second jump ring to attach the other side of the clasp to the other strand reducer.
