To make this design, you will be stringing two strands of beads at the same time, weaving in and out of larger beads. You will also be alternating between gold and copper turtle beads.
- Cut two strands of beading wire, 20 inches long each. Line them up so their tales are even and place 1 single bead stopper on both tails so they are sandwiched together.
- Thread both strands through a crimp bead.
- Next, thread both strands through a 5mm bicone. Separate out the strands and on one strand, string six 4mm bicones, on the other strand, string four 6mm round beads. Bring the strands together again and thread both through a 5mm bicone and 1 turtle bead. Please look at the photo and work with the beading wire to make it so it arches as shown in the photo. You will notice a little gap of exposed wire between the 6mm rounds and the 5mm bicones on the end, this allows for the arch.
- Please repeat the previous step 4 more times. For the last sequence, you will end in a 5mm bicone, not a turtle bead. You should now have 4 turtles strung on with bead arches between them. Please see the photo for reference and the alternating color of turtles.
- Thread both strands through a crimp bead.
- Take both your beading wires and thread them through the loop on your lobster clasp. Loop both back through your crimp bead and pull snug. Crimp your crimp bead as normal (just with the two strands inside it instead of 1) and trim off excess wire. Place a crimp bead cover over your crimp bead.
- Go back to the other side of your bracelet and remove the bead stopper. Now repeat the previous step on this side of the bracelet with your closed jump ring. All done! Enjoy!
