Retired - Emerald Isle Earrings

1. Begin this project by applying patina to the detailing on your earring hook and your pendant first so that it has time to dry while you create the other components to this earring. Using a paint brush, paint patina over all the detailing on both the earring hook and pendant, make sure it gets into the recessed lines. Take a clean dry paper towel and wipe away the patina you just applied. What will be left is just patina in the recessed areas. Let dry for at least 10 minutes.
2. Place a small bead cap facing upwards, a large bead cap facing upwards, a green bead, a large bead cap facing downwards, and a small bead cap facing downwards onto an eye pin. After the last bead cap create a simple wire loop and trim off excess wire.
3. Next, take an eye pin and place onto it a small bead cap facing upwards, a green bead, and a small bead cap facing downwards. Create a simple wire loop after the bead cap and trim off excess wire.
4. To connect all your pieces together, open and close the eye pins the same way you would open and close jump rings. Connect all your pieces in the following order via their loops starting with the earring hook: earring hook, green bead with just small bead caps, green bead with small and large bead caps, TierraCast pendant.
