Retired - Dia De Los Muertos Earrings

1. Start by applying some glue to the back of your flowers and gluing them to your stamping. Please look at the photo for reference of where to place them. Let dry.
2. While your flowers are drying, place a bead cap, skull bead, and another bead cap onto a head pin. Create a simple wire loop after the bead cap.
3. Cut the end off a head pin and create a little loop at the base, thus turning it into an eye pin. Onto this new eye pin place a bird and 3 seed beads. Create a simple wire loop after the seed beads.
4. Open the loop at the top of the skull dangle and connect it to the loop at the base of the bird dangle. You would open and close the loop just like a jump ring. Set aside.
5. Cut your 4 inches of gemstone chain in half so you have 2 pieces, 2 inches long each. Set aside.
6. Cut 2 lengths of rolo chain, 1.5 inches long each. Set aside.
7. We are now ready to assemble our earrings.
8. Begin by opening a jump ring and linking it through the predrilled hole on one side of your stamping, the end link on your cut piece of gemstone chain, and the end link on one of your cut pieces of rolo chain. Close the jump ring. Note that you want your gemstone chain to hang in the front of the earrings with the flowers facing forward.
9. Repeat the previous step on the other side of your stamping, swagging the gemstone chain across the base of the stamping.
10. Now open another jump ring and link it to the end chain link on one of your attached rolo chain segments, the simple wire loop at the top of your bird/skull dangle, and the end chain link of the other attached rolo chain segment. Close the jump ring.
11. Open one more jump ring and link it to the jump ring you just attached the chains to as well as the loop at the base of your earring hook. Close the jump ring.
12. All done, enjoy!
