Retired - Darcy Necklace

1. Take your 26" wire and string on (in this order) 1 clear bead then 11 black beads and 1 clear bead and let them fall to the center of the wire.
2. On your 12" wire string on 12 green round beads. Again, center them on the wire. Put a Bead stopper on one end.
3. Take the side of the 12" wire that is free, and add a crimp tube. Watch this video for how to use crimp tubes. Now when you make a loop, loop it around the 26" wire just above one the clear beads that you strung on before. Loop the wire back down thru the crimp bead and make sure the beads are snug and the wire is tight before you crimp down on the bead to hold it in place. Crimp the bead and trim any extra wire.
4. Repeat this on the other end of the 12" green beaded wire and the other side of the necklace.
5. Now you should have two half moon beaded wires that are attached to each other (see photo).
6. Both sides of the remaining part of the necklace will be identical. So on both sides string the following beads (in this order): 1 clear, 1 black, 1 green, 1 clear, 1 black, 1 clear, 1 green, 1 clear, 1 black, and 10 clear beads. Attach a bead stopper to each end after you add your beads.
7. On one end of your necklace, add a crimp bead, loop the wire around a jump ring, back down through the crimp bead and several adjacent beads. Pull snug and crimp the crimp bead.
8. Repeat the previous step on the other side of your necklace, making sure to link the jump ring to the lobster clasp before you add it to the necklace.
