The Beadsmith Metal Wire Snowflake Forms - Fun Craft Beading Project 4 1/2 Inches (7 Piece Pack)

I got these wire frames to make beaded snowflake ornaments. They are pretty awesome and are fun to use. However, the wire it is made out of is difficult to bend. It is incredibly stiff. I had to use more heavy duty pliers and wire cutters to bend the ends of these. Otherwise, pretty good.

As I said previously, these frames are hard to work with. I've also had two of them fall apart in the middle of making a snowflake. If you need to cut any of the wire, use something heavy-duty. Even memory wire cutters have trouble cutting through!

I definitely won't buy these again. Whether or not I use the rest up will depend on if they fall apart or not!

I just made my first snowflake with these 4.5 inch snowflake frames. I like the ease of the shape and it's easy to mount the beads, as long as you do one side at a time--and make sure the center beads don't interfere with each other. Otherwise, you have to find a way to cover the center up.

What I found really hard was making a loop at the end. The wire is VERY stiff and strong. I found the only way I could cut any excess was with memory wire cutters and even those had some difficulty. As for shaping the loop itself, my memory wire pliers were no match for this! They broke! Maybe I don't have a lot of strength but I kept going back and forth between chain nose and round nose pliers to get something that would make the edges less dangerous. Would glue on caps for memory wire work here? I may try that.

I'll likely use up what I have but I'm not sure I'll get this again. Hopefully, I'll have better luck with the 9 inch frames.

I make a wide variety of snowflakes and now only use this form. Great size, sturdy, great value. Easy to use & will thread thru so many different types of beads.

The snowflake frame makes a beautiful ornament with my own design without the work of wiring frame. The frame is sturdy and easy to use. Loved making the snowflakes in a very short time. Priced right also.
