Retired - Autumn Rose Necklace

1. Snip off 2 feet of beading wire with your flush cutters. Place your bead stopper about 3" from the tail of your beading wire.
2. Next, string onto your beading wire: 1 round 6mm fluted bead, 14 square 3mm beads, 1 round, 12 square, 1 round, 10 square, 1 round, 8 square, 1 round, 6 square, 1 round, 4 square, 1 round, 2 square. Then string on the rose quartz leaf pendant.
3. Now reverse the pattern on the other side of the leaf starting with 2 square beads, 1 round, 4 square, 1 round, 6 square, 1 round, 8 square, 1 round, 10 square, 1 round, 12 square, 1 round, 14 square.
4. Here is where it gets a bit tricky. The 6mm round fluted bead has a hole large enough to fit over and cover the crimp tube. So starting at the end without the bead stopper, string on one fluted bead and one crimp tube. Loop the wire around the loop in the clasp and back through the crimp bead. Crimp the crimp tube and snip off the excess wire. Now slide the fluted bead over the crimp tube, and slide all the other beads so that they are sung to this side. Get them as tight as you can to this side. The necklace will feel too stiff to bend but that is okay.
5. On the other side of the wire, remove your bead stopper and string on one crimp tube. Loop the wire around the loop in the clasp and back through the crimp tube. Getting as sung as you can to the fluted bead and the other adjacent beads, crimp the crimp tube and snip off the excess wire. Now slide the fluted bead over the crimp tube and even out the other beads on the beading wire. Now your necklace should hang nicely.
