Subtle tones of rose gold and hematite are woven into a kumihimo braid using 24 gauge wire. The design holds a flattering teardrop shape, neatly finished with a capsule bead cap and wrapped wire loop.

By following the instructions below, you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.
  1. To see how to make this pair of earrings from start to finish, please watch the video: How to Make a Round Kumihimo Braid Using Wire. First you will see how to cut and arrange 24 gauge wire on a kumihimo disc. Then you will see how to create the 8-warp round braid. You will also see how form the braid into a teardrop shape, and attach it to an earring hook using a wrapped wire loop and capsule bead cap.
By purchasing the supplies for this project, you can make multiple pairs of earrings!
