Hi, this is Julie with Beadaholique.com and I have a show & tell video today and this is what I've been wanting to do for a while and I'm so excited that we got this in this is fishbone link chain and it gets its name because it resembles a skeleton of a fishbone. It's really cool and we got it in four different finishes three different sizes. So it comes and a really shiny silver plated the size I'm showing you here is a 20 millimeter size I have a quarter to help you with the scale. A quarter is almost 25 millimeters. Pretty close easy to remember that way. Here is our 20 millimeter fishbone link chain and that's in the bright silver plated. We've go the bright gold plate and antiques silver and antique brass and you can see the way that this is, you've got this nice inside links which looks more like curb chain and then you've got this wonderful fishbone that shoots out from the center ones and I actually wanna show you how you would cut this chain so I just have a pair of cutters right here. You can see this is really flexible because each little fishbone is a link cut that center link I'm using not my greatest pliers. I'm not using my really great flush cutters and I'm going to cut a little bit further out. So let's say I wanted 3 intact links I would then cut on the fourth one let those little pieces fall away and then I have three little links which I can then work with my jewelry designs and then you'll get those little scraps so this is the 20 millimeter size. We also have a medium-size which is going to be 13 millimeters, Again in the four different finishes. I have a couple project examples I'll show you in a minute and then we also have a 10.5 millimeter size. I'll bring my quarter back over so you can see it in relation to that for scale again the antique brass finish, the gold plated shiny the antique silver plated and the silver plated shiny and this is the 10.5 which is our smallest size so small, medium, and large and a couple projects that Karlin made up really fast to show you how easy this stuff is to work with. So she made a really pretty little bracelet. All she did was she took a jump ring and attached a magnetic clasp to each side and then for a little variation she took this faux leather put ribbon crimps on each side, put piece of the chain in the middle and the magnetic clasp at the ends. She's gonna write this up as projects so you'll have the full instructions on Beadaholique.com It's a really pretty look. It was really easy for her to make these. Of course you can do necklaces and earrings, a whole bunch of other projects as well so this is the Fishbone Link chain. It's super popular. We've seen a lot of these different fashion magazines and in stores and now you can make your own jewelry using this very on-trend fashion forward style.
