Hi this is with Beadaholique.com and I'm going to show you how to make the Canal Street earring. This is a kit we from Beadaholique.com which will have all the ingredients you need to make these earring So I already used half the kit and made the first earring and I'm going to use the other half of the kit to make the second You have two sizes of round czech glass beads. You have a small one and a large one and this great teardrop shaped bead you have a pretty ornate silver plated bead cap and then you have these petite little silver plated bead caps earring hooks two were pins, we've already used the other components from the kits. Of course for the kit you'll get four and then we also have a head pin in terms of tools you'll need a pair of cutters chain nose pliers and round nose pliers To begin go ahead and take your head pin place onto it one of the small bead caps facing upwards one of your tear drop beads followed by the large ornate bead cap and now we're going to make a wrapped wire loop grab the wire after it comes out of the bead caps or the last bead or whatever you're working with you're going to make a bend you wanna make a ninety degree bend go ahead put your chain nose pliers down and grab the top of the bend with your round nose arch the wire over the top and around now move your pliers your gripping it on the top and continue wrapping it around now as you can see its way too loose, so we need to tighten that up with our chain nose go ahead and grab the top of the loop now you can either go ahead and grab the end with your round nose again or with your fingers I like to use my fingers make nice tight wraps we get to the end take your cutters and you just snip off the end of the wire now go back and you want to trim this up a little bit push that rough wire end and straighten out the wraps for the middle part of the earring take an eye pin and bead cap facing up put our large round bead and a bead cap facing down we want to look at the orientation of the loop and we wanna mimic that and make a simple wire loop to do that instead of making a ninety degree angle with our wire bent it at a forty five degree angle and we're not creating that gap in between the wire like with the last one because we don't want to be creating any wraps. So now we're going to grab it right at the bend bend the wire over rotate your wires up and continue bending the wire around trim it up with our cutter in this case before I actually close that loop and make it nice and tidy open it just like you open would open an jump ring pushing the two sides apart I'm not pulling it out. I'm twisting it open link it onto that onto that wrapped wire loop I already made and then twist it back in place we need to make the top component part and we're going to do that the exact same way bead cap, bead bead cap look at the orientation of the loop forty five degree bend grab it at the end loop it over move your pliers continue looping around and trim it open that up connect and close it you see that why it was important to have the loops always facing the same way so that our loops are in line and you have the next bottom loops are in line and then it creates nice even look with the bottom drop so now we just need to attach our earring hook again open it like a jump ring by by pushing the sides apart, not pulling them open put your simple loop over the earring hook twist it back into place and you have a completed pair of Canal Street earrings.
