Sunshine Hibiscus Macrame Bracelet (Reboot)

1. Begin by cutting off two lengths of cord. One about 3 feet in length and one about 8 feet in length.
2. Lay the 3 ft cord over the macrame board, center it and anchor it in the notches at the top #3 and bottom #3.
3. Take the 8 ft cord and slip it behind the other cord and begin creating square knots. Make sure your knots start at the 2 horizontal line to give enough space to move down the board. Make 12 square knots.
4. Then release the cord at the bottom to slide on one flower bead. Re-secure the cord at the bottom. You will then make 6 square knots, but make sure that the two cords are pulled across the top of the bead. What you are looking at will be the back of the bracelet. Once you have made your 6 square knots, repeat until you have added 7 beads in this manner with 6 square knots in-between each and ending with 12 square knots.
5. If you are happy with the length you will tie off the two cords you have been making square knots with. Just like you would for pearl knotting, take one strand and make a knot with the bent nose tweezers, as close as you can get it to the last square knot. Repeat for the other cord. Next add a dab of glue to each knot. Let dry for a few minutes before cutting off the excess cord and removing from the board.
6. Next you will create a slide knot clasp made of square knots. Take one of the scrap cords from the previous step or cut off another cord about 2 feet in length. Fold the bracelet together like it would wrap around the wrist and criss cross the cords. Take the 2 ft length and tie square knots as you did in the very beginning. You will want to tie about 10-12 square knots for the clasp. You can make it longer or shorter if you need to adjust the length. Then, tie it off in the same manner as above.
7. Finally, string on one flower bead to one end and find the right length to secure the bead. Make sure the hand slips through when the bracelet is open. This flower bead is meant to catch so it doesn't slip through. Make knots on both sides of the flower and add a dab of glue to each knot. Repeat on the other side. Trim the cords as necessary.
