Retired - Regency Miss Earrings

1. Gilders Paste is a wonderful way of coloring a lot of your jewelry components. For this project, we will just be using our fingers and a paper towel to apply the paste. There are varying opinions as to if you need to seal the Gilders Paste after it has fully dried for 12 hours. We recommend that you do seal it with a clear matte finish acrylic spray sealer. I found that 3 light coats worked best. You can purchase such an item at art stores and some hardware stores.
2. Using your fingers, smear Gilders Paste in African Bronze all over your 2 bezel settings. Also smear it onto the bali detail of your earring hooks. Take a paper towel to wipe off any excess and re-expose some of the silver below. If you wipe off too much, you can just apply some more with your fingers. Let dry for 12 hours.
3. Place a piece of tape over the part of the ear hook which will eventually go in your ear. Lay out the ear hooks and the bezel settings on a piece of paper or other disposable surface outside. Spray seal and let dry.
4. Remove the tape from your ear hooks.
5. Take your vintage style lucite oval cameo with the lady's profile and place a dab of E6000 adhesive on the backside of the cameo. Place into the oval of the same size on your bezel setting. Make sure the lady's head is oriented in the direction of the loop at the top of the bezel. Do this with both cameos and bezel settings. Let dry.
6. At the back of the bali detail on your earring hook there is a small loop. Open this loop the same way you would open a jump ring and attach to this loop the loop at the top of your bezel setting. Close the loop. Repeat with your other earring.
