First, use a set of flush cutters to cut the closed jump ring that your ribbon pendant charm is hanging from. Do NOT cut any part of the charm itself, just the extra jump ring it is threaded on. Remove the jump ring carefully, bending it as little as possible, and you will be able to keep it in your supplies to use in the future. Now thread a 10 mm jump ring through your large ring message charm and through your ribbon charm. Make sure your ribbon charm is facing front-side out when it lies against the large ring charm. Close the jump ring by squeezing it firmly between chain-nose pliers or nylon-jaw pliers. The harder you squeeze, the harder the silver will get, and the less chance you will have of the jump ring opening up. Now thread your finished chain necklace through the 10mm jump ring.
