The quantity of beads listed in the materials is PER SIX FEET of garland you'd like to make. Your spool of pearl cotton will make plenty, but make sure that you buy enough beads to make as much finished garland as you'd like.
- Before you begin, watch the instructional video: How to Chain Stitch Crochet with Beads.
- Use a big eye needle to string the total number of emerald and light siam 3mm crystal bicone beads onto the spool of ecru pearl cotton, alternating colors.
- Chain stitch 20 stitches, then one stitch with a bead. Repeat this until you've used your last strung bead, then chain stitch 20 more stitches.
- Trim the pearl cotton a few inches from your work and pull the tail all the way through the loop. Pull tight to secure.
- Pull the tail at the beginning of your crochet to tighten. Trim the tails of the string about half an inch from the ends of the crochet.
