St. Patrick's Day Inspiration!
St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, is just 3 weeks away but that is still plenty of time to make some lovely and hopefully lucky jewelry pieces. Having a bit of Irish in me has meant that I have always had a special affinity for this particular holiday. It has always seemed a happy and hopeful day, one teeming with laughter and joy. If you want to make jewelry for it, it's not hard to do. You can also wear St. Patrick's Day jewelry year-round as its symbols and colors are universal (unlike Christmas where it would be a stretch to wear candy cane earrings in May).
Almost any design can instantly take on a St. Paddy's Day feel by changing the color scheme to that wonderful vibrant shamrock green and then adding an accent of white or cream. However, if you really want your project to shout "St. Patrick's Day!" then adding a clover somewhere is a great place to start. You can also add Celtic elements as well to bring in that Irish feel!
I have selected some of my favorite jewelry making components for making St. Patrick's Day jewelry. I hope you enjoy!
