Our recent announcement about closing Beadaholique was met with an incredible outpouring of support from our customers and suppliers. Hearing how much Beadaholique means to you and to the beading community lifted our spirits during a very difficult time. We are truly grateful.

Within days of making the announcement, we began exploring ways to keep Beadaholique open. We are now committed to continuing our mission of being a fun, welcoming, and inspiring online resource for beads, jewelry-making supplies, projects, and education.

I was very happy to see that beadaholique will be staying open! They are the only place I can find the long elegant earring 25mm hooks! They are my favorite go to hooks for all my earrings that I make. I love all the tutorials on this site and have learned so much about beading. I’m glad I will be able to learn more here. Of course they always have a huge selection of beads. I only wish that I got my orders sooner here on the east coast. If the closeout sale helped them to be able to stay open then I’m glad my purchases helped. I certainly got some some good deals and good stuff I probably wouldn’t have otherwise. Again I’m so glad such a wonderful bead store is going to be able to continue to offer their great selection and expertise!

In the beginning, I was so sad that the website would be closing down because I do really like Kat, Julie, and the other designers. I felt bad for them. However, I’m sure someone had an inkling that you guys would be remaining open, as you would need time to prepare the new banner and graphics for the day after your company was supposed to be out of business. I spent SO much money on stuff I didn’t REALLY need but because of the great price I bought a ton of it (over $700!) This really sounds like a case of detrimental reliance.

I didn’t want to be suspicious at first, like some other commenters, but an item that didn’t ship in my last order (that shipped today) is in stock on the website.

As for whether or not I’ll shop here again, it depends on the prices and how unique the items are. Even at 40% off many items were not priced competitively. There are plenty of online bead stores that sell the same items for less.

Wow! Some people are so sure that you guys did this as a ploy. While I’m not sure, I think it certainly deserves more of an explanation. I am glad you guys are staying open as you provide a ton of resources and just plain convenience to source beading products. I know I can’t get this kind of price locally.

This is such great news. As I’m new to beading, I love Beadaholique and was so sad when I received the closure notification. You guys have great resources, tutorials, etc. It would have been a real loss to our beading community if you left. Welcome back and much success!!!
