Big Changes at Beadaholique

Big Changes at Beadaholique

Our recent announcement about closing Beadaholique was met with an incredible outpouring of support from our customers and suppliers. Hearing how much Beadaholique means to you and to the beading community lifted our spirits during a very difficult time. We are truly grateful.

Within days of making the announcement, we began exploring ways to keep Beadaholique open. We are now committed to continuing our mission of being a fun, welcoming, and inspiring online resource for beads, jewelry-making supplies, projects, and education.

For additional information, please visit our updated FAQ page or contact our customer service team.

We would also love to hear from you. Tell us what you have enjoyed most about Beadaholique and what products, projects, or features you would like to see as we move into this next chapter.

Thank you so much for your continued support and for being part of the Beadaholique community.

So glad you are staying open. I live in Canada and although I always dread the exchange rate at checkout I keep coming back to you because of the amazing selection and l basically learnt to bead by watching many of your videos.

Glad to hear you are staying open. Love the company as one of my suppliers. Just hope they don’t jack up the prices as you guys have been fair and compatible. Thanks for all you have done for us over the past years. With Gratitude, Glen

Yay!

Your kits and products have taught me so much and bring me joy and a creative outlet.

Things I’d like to see:
More videos
More kits
Information in kits about exactly what products were used so I can buy or make my own kits using the same technique. I learned circular brick stitch from kits a while ago and bought rings that were much larger than the ones in the kits.
A comparison tool or something for Miyuki and Toho colors. I believe I have, at least once, bought the same or a very similar color of bead because the two brands give them different names, and only realize when I get them in my hand!
A way to compare products period. I might buy a specific color of crystal and want a seed bead that matches it or coordinates with it. It’s hard to do that now.

Thank you!

Yay for staying open. Even though I don’t need any more of a stash….

I live in Canada and appreciate your reasonable shipping costs. I hope that will continue. I have enjoyed the diversity of your product lines and I am really looking forward to your expanding the products offered. Your prices have been favorably competative and I hope that continues also.

Congratulations to everyone involved.

So happy to hear this! Many local bead stores near me closed 3 years ago so I turned to Beadaholique for my beading needs. Love your kits , tutorials ,bead projects and Kat ! Hope you continue with them ! I would love to see you add brass findings to make fringe earrings that are so popular right now !
Congrats to the new owners !

Yea! I’m so glad to hear that you will remain open. I’ve loved being a customer for many years. Can’t wait to see how new owner and management will bring even greater products to this wonderful bead store.

I’m thrilled you will be staying open. Beadaholique has become like family to me, I’ve watched so many videos. We’ve lost so many good bead stores these past few years and what a blessing that you have found new owners for your store! So happy to hear this.

Estelle Johnson - March 19, 2022

What wonderful news to wake up to this morning! Congrats to the new owner and thank you!

Since our local bead shop closed a couple of years ago I have ordered from many online bead sites. Yours is one of my favorites, great variety (looking forward to even more to choose from), prompt shipping (some sites take 2-3 weeks or longer before I receive my order) and awesome sales.

I would like to see more unusual and hard to find findings and colors and shapes of beads, more of the available color choices of the harder to find beads for example 2-hole daggers. It is difficult enough to mix and match beads for a project when you cannot hold them in your hand to compare and even harder when there are not many colors available.
Happy Bead Trails!

This great news has made my day.
I was so sad to hear of your closing, as recently the best bead store in my area closed after many years, devastating many people who were part of the community. I thought- oh no- now we lose you too. I’m Super Happy about the news! Long live Beadaholique :) thank you

So happy to hear that you will continue. and expand! As to products you do not carry that I would like to see, more Czech glass (you have some but there is so much more) and high quality magnetic clasps. Also end caps for Kumihimo braids. Things I love that I hope you continue are the 2/0 beads, and to keep on bringing new things in general with your fabulous tutorials! You have pushed me to expand my horizons in so many ways due to your tutorials and kits! I love also that many times I can buy different color ways than the kits offer, you have the supplies available without the kit. I have been beading for about 10 years and mainly gave it away to friends and family. I kept thinking I should sell, but I hate sitting at craft fairs and just did not want to sell. So now I donate to my local humane society thrift shop and can keep on exploring new beading options with Beadaholique! This announcement made my day!
