    I have used, long long time ago an old wooden spool 🧵 with 4 nails in it to make a cord. It really worked. I’m thinking my daughter would like to use this, she has just gotten into macrame and loves it.

    I probably would make multiple items and most would be given away as gifts to others. I love to keep busy. I would start with something simple like bag straps, then get more complex like a rug.
