I haven’t used chain yet but would love to play with it!

To wear, I like box chains. I am too new to jewelry making to comment on which chains I prefer to use to make jewelry.

Ooh, I haven’t used chain yet in beading but these are so cool! I don’t know the names of many chains but the ones with the ovals connected by small circle links are very cool.

Love chains that are twisted or hammered or have various sized links. Love the extra interest these types of chain have to make “plain” beads that much more interesting.

I am new to using the chains. But I
Love the crystal studded chains. Gorgeous

I love the paperclip chain and the rollo chain. But every chain is very nice with the beads to make bracelets.

I like fine chain that complements the chain maille pendants I create.

Fine chain also works beautifully with bead-woven bracelets. I use size 11 TOHO beads for my bead-weaving, and a delicate chain works beautifully as part of the closure.

And yes: the bracelets I weave come from Beadaholique!

Love paperclip chain in all sizes!

Lori K - December 16, 2024

The chain I prefer, depends mostly on what I’m making—whether it is earrings, necklace, bracelet, bags, ornaments, or miniature projects. So all are useful to me and all are favored.

Chains!

As for which is my favorite, it depends on the use. For necklaces, 8 often use rolo or box chains. For other uses, the project usually dictates the kind of chain I use.
