I have just gotten back into beading recently and purchased two Mr Kitty bags. I am thinking I want to sort them by type of beads the. Sort again by color. The dollar store sells great small containers to hold beads in. So I may do that.

I tend to put my other beads I am using back in their respective containers.

I love to store my “bead soup” in clear glass jars of various shapes & sizes. So pretty and always an inspiration for new projects!

I have two terrible habits that drive me a little bonkers when I can’t find a box of beads because it’s my own procraftinating fault… I have hundreds of bead boxes that contain anywhere from 15 to 52 smaller boxes so I take out what beads I need (or think I need) and never put them back into the box they came out of. This results in me having gallon bags, tubs, tote bags, etc. full of little bead boxes and then I hunt for what I want. Stupid (lazy?) – I KNOW! As for loose project leftovers they usually end up in big pill bottles and I know will never be put back but I can’t bring myself to ditch them because they are mostly nice beads. Not enough for a project, but ya never know…

Santa, please bring me a Fairy Organizer/Motivational Drill Sargent to help whip me & my 1000’s of beads into shape for the coming year.

I have a lovely Chinese bowl that I put them in. I also have lots of clear containers as I need to see what I have.

I use ‘weekly pill containers’ because they are small enough to travel with me when working on various projects and easy to store due to their uniform size. (They are also inexpensive. LOL)

Great video today! Love learning something new! Thank you 🙏!

I use an assortment of organizers… small screw top holders, lidded multi-compartment holders, trays with compartments… I like to have everything easily visible if a creative moment strikes! ; )

I try to separate larger beads from smaller and by color. Then I use old medicine bottles for containers and label loosely what’s inside!

Absolutely love your live shows, Julie and the Mr. Kitty Bags!!! You carry a great variety of items!!!
Big eye needles work with stretch cord too for stretch bracelets!!!
Happy Holidays and may God bless each of you and your families too and all the beaders “out there” !!!!

I put my extra beads in a decorative bowl on my desk. I love looking at them to get inspiration if I put them away I might forget about them. A great piece of jewelry wouldn’t get made!
