Retired - Althea Necklace

1. Start this project by creating little connector pieces with your bicones. To do this, place a bicone onto an eye pin and then create a simple wire loop on the other side. Trim off excess wire. Create a total of 18 of these little crystal connector pieces.
2. Cut 4 lengths of chain, 4 inches long each. Cut 2 lengths of chain, 8 inches long each.
3. We are going to build one side of the necklace and then just repeat all the steps to build the other side of the necklace exactly the same way.
4. Take one of the 4" long pieces of chain and connect a bicone crystal connector to one of the ends (via the simple wire loop, just open it like a jump ring and then close it back up again). On the other end of the bicone connector, add a jump ring and link it to the loop on one side of your bottle. On the other end of the chain, link another bicone connector. To this connector, link another connector and then a third one so that you have a little crystal chain segment, 3 bicones long. Next link the last bicone connector you added to one of the bottom 2 loops on your strand reducer. Repeat this same chain segment and attaching method so that you have a second chain that has been added to the other loop on the strand reducer and connecting down to the same loop on the bottle.
5. Take one of your 8" long chain segments and connect a bicone link to one end. Add a jump ring to the other end of the bicone connector and attach it to the top loop of the strand reducer. On the other side of the chain attach a jump ring and link it to one half of your clasp.
6. Repeat the previous 2 steps on the other side of your necklace.
7. Fill your bottle with some Glitter Rox and then replace the cork. If you want, you can add a little glue to keep your cork firmly in place.
