Let these pretty Victorian style angel earrings bring you happiness and joy this holiday season. Their silver, brass, and ivory color palette is elegantly subdued and will look lovely paired with a variety of festive outfits.
Reboot: We have updated this project using lovely PRESTIGE white pearls and a slightly different "crown."

Instructions

Don't forget to double these instructions to make your matched pair of earrings! You will also need a paint brush for this project.

Start by mixing 1 drop of silver color Vintaj metallic patina paint with 2 drops of Vintaj glaze. Paint the mixture onto your angel wings, bead cap, and Vintaj emblazonry filigree. For the filigree, paint a heavier coat near the base and then gradually use less paint until you are not using any at all up towards the top. Let dry.
Take your Vintaj relief block and use it to gently buff your angel wings, bead cap, and filigree - removing some of the paint and exposing the shiny brass below.
Place onto an eye pin 1 Austrian crystal 8mm round faux pearl in ivory, the painted angel wings, 1 Austrian crystal 5mm round faux pearl in ivory, and 1 painted bead cap (pointing away from the bead so it forms a crown). Create a simple wire loop after the bead cap and snip off excess wire with flush cutters.
Open the loop at the base of your earring hook and link it to the simple loop you created in the previous step. Close the loop.
Open the eye pin loop at the base of your angel and connect it to the top filigree hole on your painted filigree. Close the loop back up.
