You will also need a fine paint brush for this project.
- Put a dab of patina on a piece of scrap paper.
- Take your paint brush and dip it into patina and begin to paint only the edges of the lucite rose. Tip: start from the inner most petal and work your way out. See photo.
- Do not wipe off the patina. Let it dry before continuing.
- Use the Crafters Pick glue adhesive on the back of the rose cabochon and glue it to the black velour backing.
- Once the glue has dried, use sharp scissors to cut out the velour backing along the edges of the rose.
- Using E6000 place a dab of glue on the ring finding and place it on the center back of the finished rose cabochon.
