Retired - Druzy Beads Earrings

1. Begin by turning the bezel earring up side down and tracing the outline on to a piece of Lacy's Stiff Stuff.
2. Cut out the tear drop shape. Make sure that this piece fits inside the bezel. You may need to trim it down.
3. Once you have your teardrop piece. Cut off a piece of Nymo thread, about 30 inches long, or as comfortable as you feel working with. You can always add more thread later.
4. You will begin to do a bead embroidery back stitch. Please watch our video if you are unfamiliar with this technique.
5. Make a knot at one end, and thread the other end though a needle.
6. Come up through the back of Lacy's Stiff Stuff. You can begin anywhere you like. This is free form bead embroidery. You will want the beads to fit snuggly to give it that druzy look. You can look at the photos for inspiration. You will continue working your way around your teardrop shape with a back stitch.
7. Tie off your thread on the back of the piece when you have finished the teardrop.
8. Place a dab of E6000 onto the back of your bead embroidered piece. Place it inside the bezel.
9. All done!
